Cache refresh<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A first attempt you can do is open the affected site and force a cache refresh by hitting CTRL+F5. At this point, if you&#8217;re lucky, the icon in the navigation tab should be the correct one. If you are not, try to close the tab, restart your browser and reload the page in a new tab.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Favicon\u00a0reload<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another method is to load the favicon directly from the website (normally visiting http:\/\/websiteaddress\/favicon.ico), refresh it by hitting F5 or CTRL+F5 and restarting your browser. For the more experienced, by clicking the right mouse button on the page and selecting &#8220;View source&#8221; option you can search for the exact reference to the favicon.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. Favicon cache reset<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A more drastic way to solve the problem, but that allows you to do it globally rather than site-by-site, is to clear the browser&#8217;s favicon cache.
